Edween Kimutai Chemweno
Edween is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya of over five years standing and a Law Graduate of Moi University.
He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Dundee in the United Kingdom and currently he is pursuing a Doctor of Laws (LL.D) at the University of South Africa.
He has previously lectured law at Mt. Kenya University School of law, Kisii University school of Law and currently lectures at Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) Faculty of Law.
Edween is in charge of Conveyancing department and in charge of the day to day running of the firm. His areas of specialization are Civil and Commercial litigation, Company law, Insurance law, IP Law, Banking Law and practice, Land and Environmental Law, Conveyancing, Human Rights and Humanitarian Law and Family law.
Previously, Edween has worked in various law firms as associate advocate and head of department.
Eric Wamalwa Masafu
Eric is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, he holds a bachelor of laws degree (LL.B) from the University of Nairobi and a master of laws (LL.M) in International Law degree from University of Glasgow, Scotland (UK). He also holds CPS section two (2) certificate.
He is currently he is pursuing a PH.D degree at the University of Nairobi. Eric is in charge of litigation and intellectual property (IP) law departments and he lectures at Mt. Kenya University School of law.
He lectures among others, Environmental Law, Constitutional Law, civil procedure, Company law and co-operatives and partnerships law. His main areas of practice are IP law (Registering trademarks, Industrial designs, Utility models and Copyrights), company law (Company secretarial duties such as drafting Special and Ordinary Resolutions on alteration of the Memorandum and Articles of Association, Appointment of Directors, Allotment of Shares and filling Statutory Forms for Annual Returns, Registering of companies both local and international, drafting of production sharing contracts for foreign and local investors in the oil and mineral industry).
Previously, he has worked as an associate at various law firms and organizations in various capacities.
Mauryne Maina
Mauryne is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, she holds a bachelor of laws and a master of laws (International law with International relations) degrees both from University of Kent at Canterbury, UK.
She is a law lecturer at Mt. Kenya University School of law. Among her research concentration is international contract law, International trade law, law of torts, Insurance law and banking and banking and commercial securities.
Mauryne is in charge of commercial law department. Her main areas of practice are commercial law, conveyancing, employment law, debt collection claims, succession law, property law, arbitration and mediation.
Previously, she has worked as an associate at Ombuna Ongeri Advocates, as a legal assistant at Ministry of foreign Affairs, Kenya and at State law office, Kenya as an intern.
Judy Chepchirchir
Judy is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Law Graduate of Moi University(LL.B). She is currently pursuing a Master of laws degree (LL.M) at University of South Africa (UNISA) specialising in criminal law and procedure. Judy is currently working at the directorate of public prosecutions as a principal state prosecutor. She was in charge of civil and criminal litigation sections of the firm. Her areas of specialization are Civil and Criminal litigation, Insurance law, Conveyancing and Family law.
Judy consults for the firm from time to time on matters of criminal law and procedure and family law.
